Chiropractic and chiropractors

Chiropractic is the treatment of joints in the body that have reduced mobility.

Chiropractors have a 6-year university education and are authorized by the Danish Health Authority. Chiropractors deal with the examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of pain and impaired function in muscles and joints. Some of the most common symptoms we see are pain, tension, decreased mobility, sleeping sensations and numbness.

Using precise hand grips, any deviations are corrected and joint mobility is restored. Manipulative therapy, as this method is called, is a specialty of the chiropractor and is used to gently restore function to the joints. During the manipulation treatment, a slight kink may occur, which is completely harmless and is simply due to the negative pressure created in the joint when the chiropractor treats it. The negative pressure causes a natural chemical reaction whereby some of the joint fluid is converted into a gaseous state. This is what causes the audible crack. The sound is not caused by the bones rubbing against each other or something tearing.

The visit to Chiropraktor.com includes a review of your medical history and a comprehensive examination of your problem. In some cases, an X-ray is also necessary. We can take and describe this at both our clinics.

We are known for our special whole-body technique and philosophy, which in short is that YOUR BODY IS WHOLE AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH. We don't just treat symptoms, but perform a thorough and comprehensive examination of your entire body and all its joints to find the underlying causes of your immediate symptoms. This provides an effective and lasting solution.

Along with your treatment, you'll also receive individualized advice on exercises and everyday tips to help alleviate your problem.

You don't need a referral from your doctor to be treated with us.
